Day 508

Day 508 May 22^nd

Marvel Minimates TRU Avengers wave:

TRU exclusive Hawkeye

DST really knocked this one out of the park, not only getting the look of Hawkeye in the movie but also adding the detail of a quiver that can actually hold the loose individual arrows!!!  This is fast becoming one of my favourite Minimates!

Day 507

Day 507 May 21^st

Marvel Minimates TRU Avengers wave:

TRU exclusive Black Widow

This is the second movie version of Black we have gotten as a Minimate.  While I thought the first one was pretty decent this one is even better!  The design team at DST really did a great job putting this one together.

Day 506

Day 506 May 20^th

Sundays with my Son

The Marvel vs Capcom 3 line is so much fun!  I really like that this Deadpool comes with 2 swords and 2 guns for all kinds of crazy fun fights!

Day 505

Day 505  May 19^th

Marvel Minimates TRU Avengers wave:

TRU exclusive Nick Fury

I totally dig the new holster piece that DST has designed; it’s not too bulky and holds the gun nice and snug!  They did a great job that this Nick Fury Minimate sure is one BMF!

Day 504

Day 504 May 18^th

Fun Photo Friday!!

Welcome to a new feature here on Portrait of an Addiction: Fun Photo Friday!  I am going to grab some random Minimate(s) and do just some fun photos as opposed to the standard fare.  Hope you enjoy!!

Day 503

Day 503 May 17^th

Marvel Minimates TRU Avengers wave:

TRU exclusive Loki

I totally dig how they updated Lokis look for the Avengers movie.  The cloak and new helmet look great and DST nailed the look of the staff!

Day 502

Day 502 May 16^th

Marvel Minimates wave 44:

Hulk

I have always liked this look for the Hulk but was not very happy with the previous Minimate in this look.  Something about it just didn’t sit right for me but this one is awesome!  I love the fact that he can even hold the chunks of rock!

Day 501

Day 501 May 15^th

Marvel Minimates wave 44:

Thor

I have just started to read the Avengers book that this wave of Minimates is said to be based around and I have to say that I am already impressed in the way that DST has captured the looks that Perez did.  This bearded Thor is fast a fave of mine, go figure, and I love the spinning hammer accessory!!
