Marvel Minimates Wave 45/TRU Avengers wave:

Thor

            I kinda dig this more casual look for Thor; it was nice to see them give him a bit different look for part of the movie at least since his main costume is pretty much the same.  While this released versions hair looks a bit better than the initial designs I find it still does not quite capture the look from the movie.

            I have just started to read the Avengers book that this wave of Minimates is said to be based around and I have to say that I am already impressed in the way that DST has captured the looks that Perez did.  This bearded Thor is fast a fave of mine, go figure, and I love the spinning hammer accessory!!

Breaking News!  The Avengers Movie Minimates reveal

Straight out of the liveblog with DST on Marvel.com comes the images of The Avengers Minimates including the debut images of Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Loki and Nick Fury!  The last 4 of those being part of the TRU wave.  There are 3 more Minimates in the comic store wave that cannot be shown yet - 2 mystery foes and Maria Hill!
