            This is a character I can say I don’t recall from the movie but honestly it has been a long time since I watched it so I am sure there is more I have forgotten too.  One thing I can say, DST really did some thing awesome with this design…I find it very well done and somewhat enchanting for a toy!

Luke's Toy Store released two new stands today that open up new action poses for Minimate heroes and villains. The Tall Flight Stand is as tall as a Minimate, which allows flying characters to soar over their non-flying companions. Two foot pegs hold almost any Minimate snugly atop this lofty base. The Dueling Flight Stand gives bitter enemies a new way to battle in mid air. Each swirling arm has a strong foot peg at the end of it. Even non-flying characters can use this stand, as most comic book battles involve plenty of jumping and dodging. Both of these stands were designed using 3D CADD software, and then printed by a 3D printer. Each piece is cast in translucent white resin by hand by Luke Porter, who has been making custom action figures for over a decade.

Exclusive Peter Parker

            Another one of my favourite classic Minimates has got to be this Peter Parker Minimate.  It really captures the feel of the character and I love the book and backpack accessories!

Exclusive Mary Jane

            Coming in one of the first ever convention exclusive 2 packs is our first Minimate of Peter Parkers long time girlfriend/wife; Mary Jane!  I thought this was a very cool way to release her, and this set is still a favourite of mine!

Giant Sized X-Men Box Set:

Wolverine

            For the longest time this was head and shoulders high my favourite Wolverine Minimate.  I just really liked how it all came together and in all honesty it took a long time before they released another one that could take that top spot away.

            I have always thought this to be one of the best done Minimates ever.  Even the re-do of Nightcrawler recently only is a bit better than this classic one!

            I am very excited to see the new Colossus Minimate coming up in wave 47 since I consider this version to be an absolutely awesome Minimate!  It will be interesting to see how the new one will stack up to it.

            Another classic X-Men character in her classic look; this Storm is an amazing piece of work without a doubt!

            As the first release of the regular Marvel universe X-Men this box set was amazing.  For being mostly plain this is still a great classic Cyclops Minimate and still one of my favourites!

Thunderbird

            This was the first set of Minimates I bought at the comic book stores when I started collecting them and boy was I glad it was once I joined the online community and discovered how much these sets were going for on the secondary market!  Thunderbird here looks great, very true to the source material and I love how bold the colours are.
