Day 481

Day 481 April 25^th

AFX Exclusive

Magneto

I remember freaking out when I first heard of this exclusive set and how much I wanted it.  It still is one of my favourite 2-packs.  The smirk on Magnetos face is great and the look in his eye give a hint that he has something up his sleeve!

Day 463

Day 463 April 7^th

X-Men First Class: Magneto

One of the parts I really liked with the First Class movie was how it explored the friendship of Xavier and Magneto in the early days.  I found this to be a great take on the pair.  DST did a great job with the Minimate, getting the look dead on.  Magneto also came with his signature helmet which is a bit of a spoiler to those who hadn’t seen the movie but as you can see in my pictures someone else is holding the helmet…

Day 451

Don't mess with the master of magnetism!

Day 451 March 26^th

Marvel vs Capcom 3 photo contest

DST held a photo contest on their Facebook page that was based around their Marvel vs Capcom 3 line of Minimates.  Above is my entry and below are two other ones I came up with while working on my entry!

"Your armour is no match for me fool!"

"Your stealth technology cannot hide your METAL armour from the master of magnetism!!"

Day 410

Day 410 February 14^th

TRU exclusive Magneto

This is undoubtedly one of the best Magneto Minimates that have been made to date, in my opinion anyways.  The colours are dead on and the facial expression is great!  I have been on the Marvel Minimate train since the start and I love how DST just keeps getting better and better with what they do with these guys!

Day 406

Day 406 February 10^th

Age of X Magneto

It appears that in this storyline Magneto is a savior of mutantkind and thus making the white knight look a very appropriate one.  While at first look it might seem a bit too plain or bland; after looking at the source artwork this is pretty much how he looked.  I love the helmet that he comes with, very knightly looking!  I am not 100% sure but I have ideas stirring in my head and something like this might show up in my comic work.
