Minimates
A couple weeks ago I attended a local comic
con for the first time. This show
started off as an all anime con but 3 years ago they added comics to it and are
morphing it into a more entertainment con like most cons are now a days. The previous 2 years I had people ever so
politely have their weddings on that weekend and therefore could not attend…I
was not going to let that happen this year lol!
One of the draws for this con was actor
Aaron Douglas, whom some will know from his role of Chief Galen Tyrol on
Battlestar Galactica. It just happened
that I had gotten the early BSG wave that had not one but two Minimates
versions of his character for dirt cheap.
So since I had these and he was going to be at the con I had to get them
signed!
I realized I have a small little collection
of autographed Minimates. These 2 sets,
the Walt Simonson signed Stormbreaker set from SDCC last year and of course my
most favourite is one of the Death of Jean DeWolf saga wave signed by my all
time favourite writer who I got to meet last year, Peter David!
